ESF-6 Mass Care Coordinating Agency Meeting

The Coordinating Agency team members, including members from the Department of Human Services, the American Red Cross, and Johnson County Emergency Management and Homeland Security met on April 22nd to discuss ESF-6 Mass Care and begin planning for the first workgroup session. Topics that will be covered in ESF-6 will be Mass Sheltering, coverage of special needs sheltering, and animal care for pets impacted by disasters. Workgroup team members will soon be receiving an email with details for the first workgroup meeting.
